Geek Squad is Best Buy’s Tier-1 technology services organization and the largest electronics repair provider in North America, operating across 1,000+ locations. ● Installed, upgraded, and replaced computer hardware components, performing in-depth diagnostics to identify faulty parts and restore system performance across desktops and laptops. ● Troubleshot and resolved application and OS-level issues across Windows, macOS, and ChromeOS, ensuring system stability and compatibility in multi-OS environments. ● Diagnosed and resolved network connectivity issues, including LAN/Wi-Fi configuration problems, DNS/DHCP-related failures, and performance bottlenecks. ● Supported and troubleshot Microsoft 365, and Outlook, addressing account access, synchronization, configuration, and application-level issues. ● Implemented security remediation solutions for compromised accounts and systems, including malware and spyware removal, system hardening, and security best-practice enforcement. ● Assisted users with cloud storage solutions including OneDrive, Google Drive, iCloud, and Dropbox, ensuring data accessibility and minimizing data loss. ● Set up new systems for clients, including user account creation, email configuration, data migration, system cloning for legacy applications, and data recovery from failed storage devices.
